The Shrewsbury Night Bus is here!
Running 24th November – 23rd December 2025
Getting home from a night out in Shrewsbury just got easier.
Shrewsbury’s Festive Night Bus is a brand-new trial service making late-night travel safer, more affordable and more convenient for everyone enjoying the town’s evening and night-time offer.
Running Monday to Saturday until midnight, the Night Bus connects the town centre with key residential areas across Shrewsbury:
N11 – Oxon
N25 – Harlescott
N27 – Bayston Hill
Fares are simple and great value:
£2 for adults
£1 for children (under 16)
£5 group ticket for up to five people travelling together
FREE travel for the first week (24–29 November)
Concessions travel free
Weekly and monthly Arriva passes are accepted
Rangers, Taxi Marshals and venue staff will be on hand on Fridays and weekends to help direct you to the right stop.

About the Night Bus Trial
The Night Bus is being delivered by the Shrewsbury Big Town Plan Partnership, led by Shrewsbury BID and operated by Arriva, with support from the Shrewsbury Transport Integration Group (STIG), chaired by Shrewsbury MP Julia Buckley.
The service responds directly to local calls for better late-night transport, particularly for hospitality workers, young people, and those returning from evening events.
By offering a safe, dependable and low-cost way to get home, the Night Bus aims to:
Increase safety in key areas such as riverside paths
Reduce long walks home
Support staff working late
Encourage visitors to stay longer in town
Improve public transport options during peak evening hours
